Job Details:
Kayak Guides are responsible for ensuring a fun and safe kayak experience for all of our customers. Our guides help with all aspects of our daily operations, including meeting and outfitting customers, giving safety orientations, shuttling/picking up trips, loading/unloading boats, and cleaning and maintaining vehicles and equipment. As primarily a mobile business, we rely on our guides to assist with opening and closing our locations each day, as well as organizing and cleaning up inventory at the end of the day.
Qualifications:
This position is for ages 21 .
Ideal candidates have excellent customer service skills and a love for the outdoors! You must be physically able to lift and transport kayak equipment and paddle up to 5 miles a day. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for leading group orientations and engaging with customers throughout the day.
Kayak Guides are team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be available for flexible hours and weekend work during the summer season. CPR certification (Red Cross) is required or must be obtained. Experience driving and backing up a trailer with a van or truck is required. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
