Ultrasound Technologist/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

The Sonographer at Women's Care of the Commonwealth plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients by providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a supportive experience for patients during what can often be meaningful and emotional moments in their care journey.
Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians.
- Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results.
- Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
- Maintain equipment in appropriate operating condition.
- Maintain examination rooms and work areas.
- Order and stock all supplies.
- Maintain accurate department records, reports, and files as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work as a team member within the ultrasound department and all other departments.
- Document work processes as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program required.
Compensation: $32/hr entry level

Schedule Requirements: Full-time position, 5 days per week, 100% clinic-based, in person work required.
Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
