Risk Management Administrative Assistant

Location: Cumberland Family Medical Center Annex - Russell Springs, KY
The Risk Management Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Risk Management and Compliance team. This role helps ensure CFMC maintains compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements while supporting initiatives that promote patient safety, minimize risk, and improve quality of care. Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining filing systems (physical and digital), organizing documents, and keeping records up to date.
- Scheduling and organizing complex activities such as meetings and department activities for all members of the department.
- Establishing, developing, maintaining and updating filing system for the department. Retrieving information from files when needed.
- Organizing and prioritizing large volumes of information and confidential documents.
- Drafting written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responding to regularly occurring requests for information
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and acting as a point of contact between staff, clients, and external partners.
- Serving as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEO, and Chiefs. Handling confidential and non-routine information and explaining policies when necessary.
- Working independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acting as project manager for special projects, at the request of the administrative staff, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings.
- Typing and designing general correspondences, tables, business plans, etc. Proofreading copy for spelling, grammar and layout, and making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate degree.
- Two years of related experience.
- Prior Experience in a non-profit environment preferred.
Schedule Requirements:
Full-time position, 5 days per week, hybrid office/remote schedule available after satisfactory 60 day introductory period.
Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
