As a Full-Time Journeyman Lineman with Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, you will play a vital role in providing and maintaining electric service to our consumers. Your essential duties will include observing and practicing all safety protocols, interpreting blueprints and work orders, and applying RUS specifications in the field. You'll be responsible for installing and disconnecting meters while accurately reading and recording data. In this position, you'll engage in all phases of electrical line construction, including residential, commercial, underground, and transmission projects. You'll also step in as a backup for the Working Foreman and Service Foreman when needed, assist service crews, and perform hot line work.
Moreover, you will locate trouble spots, make necessary repairs, and actively participate in restoring electric service to ensure our customers always receive reliable power. Join us in making a difference in the community!
