To carry out enforcement and collection of Court Orders in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities :
- Serves bench warrants, personal service of court documents, locates absent parents / payees / payors and investigates and verifies information on parties involved.
- Provides office and courtroom security.
- Maintain semi-annual weapons qualification and other annual defensive tactics training.
- Interacts with other counties, agencies, clients, and public to enforce court orders.
- Record keeping and report maintenance.
- Transports prisoners.
- Assists in preparing cases and documentation for litigation / court hearings.
- Attends meetings and training as required.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work :
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience :
2 4 years’ experience in law enforcement, human services or courts preferred.
Training
- Act 235 Lethal Weapons training certification (must be willing to obtain and maintain as a condition of employment)
- Computer training
Clearances
- PA State Mandated Child Abuse Reporter training
- PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprint clearances
- Act 57 clearances
