Job Summary
Job Summary
Instruct special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with District policies and procedures aligned with IDEA and state regulations; develop and implement IEP goals, assess students, and coordinate programs to increase independence and ability to function in society, socially, vocationally and academically.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid California Special Education Credential authorizing service for Educational Specialist or Mild/Moderate with Autism authorization or Moderate/Severe authorization. CLAD Certificate/English Learner authorization or equivalent is required.
Letters should be addressed to: Dr. Melissa Gooden, Assistant Superintendent - Human Resources
- Copy of Transcript (Unofficial can be attached to the application but should you be selected sealed official transcripts will be required.)
- Credential Copy (If currently in an Intern Program please attach a letter from the program.)
- Letter of Introduction (Indicating (a) reason for interest in the position; and (b) a description of qualifications, training and experience relating to the unique needs of this position)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters written within the last two yrs. One must be from a previous supervisor.)
- Resume
- Test Results/Materials (CSET, MSAT or Praxis testing results)
