Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills, tips, and payments.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible serving practices.
- Keep track of inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering to prevent shortages.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong customer service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
