ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – INVENTORY CONTROLLER
Job Overview:
The inventory controller is someone who truly cares about making an impact on peoples’ lives. They have a strong understanding of organization and adopt the merchant mentality. They see the bigger picture and can see that branding is a key component for the success of Culture. When customers come in, we want them to feel happy and excited to be here – something to look forward to. This can only be achieved if the inventory controller is ensuring that product is being properly maintained, easy to locate, and the store always looks fully replenished. Most importantly, they need to have a system of tools and processes that is 100% accurate at all times. For Culture to “deliver happiness from seed to store,” inventory controllers need to have a relentless focus on having the right product, at the right place, at the right time so that the customer has benefits after visiting one of our stores.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Receive incoming deliveries, confirming items and quantities are correct and checking expiration dates/product quality before receiving
o Import deliveries from Metrc, updating quantities received if necessary
o Create internal invoices for received deliveries
o Scan all documents to their desired destination
o Create new product shells and descriptions
o Assist management with pricing of products
o Maintain stock of products on inventory floor
o Update breakroom whiteboard with new/almost out/out of stock products
o Maintain Club Member Box Inventory
o Set up and maintain Daily Deals/current promotions
o Maintain flower table/all sales floor product displays
o Move products from BOH to FOH, following all necessary steps and updating the New Product Intake sheet
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Maintain appearance/cleanliness of inventory room
o Organize all incoming deliveries, placing products in appropriate inventory room locations o Maintain all sales floor/inventory bins and labels
o Alert management to expiring/damaged products
o Assist customers on sales floor when needed
o Update/maintain Flower Cheat Sheet with the most up-to-date information
o Support FOH during rushes, as needed
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
