About the Role
The Sourcing & Merchandising Manager plays a critical role in driving our sourcing, merchandising, and sales initiatives across both onsite and online gifting programs. This position is responsible for curating high-quality, trend-forward product assortments, managing supplier and brand relationships, maintaining e-commerce product data, and leading the execution of customized gifting proposals for corporate clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring cross-functional, time-sensitive collaboration. They have a sharp eye for emerging trends and a strong instinct for identifying high-end, aspirational products that align with our brand and elevate the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Proposal Support
- Lead and develop customized sales proposals for onsite and online gifting programs, ensuring alignment with client needs, brand standards, operational feasibility, and margin integrity.
- Manage incoming custom sales requests; guide the proposal creation process in partnership with the Sourcing & Merchandising Team and Sales Teams.
- Partner closely with Sales to manage all program-type proposal requests and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
- Oversee and advise on curated collections, including assortment strategy, inventory, and seasonal refreshes.
Supplier & Brand Relationships
- Demonstrate strong awareness of emerging trends and the ability to identify high-end, aspirational products that enhance our assortment and meet client expectations.
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and brand partners to source products, request quotes, gather assets, and lead negotiations.
- Maintain positive vendor relationships and ensure accurate, timely updates on product availability, lead times, pricing, and customization options.
Product & E-Commerce Management
- Own assigned product categories end-to-end, including assortment planning, vendor selection, pricing inputs, and performance analysis.
- Monitor and maintain backend inventory levels, ensuring accuracy for both online and onsite gifting experiences.
- Manage program product orders and logistics for assigned accounts, coordinating with suppliers, warehouse partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Update and maintain product listings in the e-commerce platform as needed, including SKU creation, product attributes, pricing, imagery, and categorization.
Reporting & Data Management
- Assist in the preparation, distribution, and maintenance of weekly and monthly reporting for leadership, including supplier performance, product trends, inventory tracking, and program activity.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in merchandising, product management, sourcing, or e-commerce preferred; experience in gifting, retail, or consumer goods a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of organization with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with e-commerce management tools, inventory systems, and project management platforms.
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets; comfort with data analysis and reporting.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Salary Range:$75,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually
