Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and food safety standards to assist guests with recommendations.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures are followed at all times; bus tables promptly to keep the dining area tidy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns swiftly.
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
• Ability to make signature drinks from the menu

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings is preferred; nightclub or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
