Duties:
- Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys and data collection
- Set up and operate surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Measure distances, angles, and elevations using various surveying instruments
- Collect and record field data, including measurements, sketches, and notes
- Perform calculations and data analysis to support surveying activities
- Assist in the preparation of survey reports and maps
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required to support field operations
Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of basic construction principles and ability to read blueprints
- Familiarity with hand tools used in surveying, such as levels, rods, and compasses
- Experience with GIS (Geographic Information System) software is a plus
