Survey Crew Chief / Survey Field Crew (1099 Contractor)
Location: Sebring, FL (Serving Highlands County, including Avon Park, Lake Placid, Lorida, and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
About the Opportunity
E&R Land Surveyors is looking for an experienced Survey Crew Chief or Survey Field Crew to perform field surveying work on a contract basis. We are seeking reliable professionals who take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and can work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform boundary, topographic, mortgage, and construction staking surveys.
- Operate GPS and robotic total station equipment.
- Collect accurate field data and notes.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure safe field operations.
- Communicate with the office regarding project progress and any field issues.
Qualifications
- Previous land surveying field experience required.
- Experience with GPS and robotic total stations preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Compensation
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Pay is per project and based on experience, qualifications, and scope of work.
