About the Role
Culpepper & Associates Security Services is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support a Veterans Affairs healthcare facility in Canton, Ohio. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in security, customer service, military, law enforcement, or public safety who want a stable, weekday-only schedule.
As a Security Officer, you will maintain a safe and secure environment for Veterans, medical staff, employees, and visitors, ensuring top-quality service and protection.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in a professional healthcare setting
- Maintain a strong security presence throughout the facility
- Monitor cameras and surroundings for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Greet and assist patients and medical staff
- Enforce clinic policies and procedures
- Conduct interior foot patrols
- Protect property and prevent theft, loss, and vandalism
- Follow established emergency procedures
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily logs
Qualifications
Requirements
- Valid State of Ohio Security Guard License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to write basic reports and documentation
- Previous security officer, unarmed guard, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
