What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Officer position at CULPEPPER & ASSOCIATES SECURITY SERVICES INC?
As a Security Officer, working in a clinical environment, you will serve and safeguard the United States Veterans’ Affairs property and their customers. Security Officers are responsible for the surveillance of the client’s healthcare premises and the protection of the staff, members, and visitors. Security Officers also provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
- Required to interface with visitors, staff, physicians, patients, and family members.
- Continuous monitoring for signs of unusual activity.
- Reporting any security breaches or illegal activity.
- Conducting routine security checks to prevent theft or damage.
- Responding to fire alarms and other emergencies.
Must have an active Hawaii Security License.
Must possess excellent public relations/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Successfully pass a criminal background investigation.
Successfully complete a physical examination and drug screening.
Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment; work closely with medical and nursing staff to resolve patient-related issues/problems.
