Culmen International is looking to hire a Forensic Accountant in Washington, DC.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Analyze complex financial information from a large and diverse set of financial information.
- Perform multiple, complex, accounting tasks involving analyses of various accounting functions such as disbursement requests, cashier receipts, reconciliations, etc.
- Analyze complex problem sets to determine anomalies and divergences from standard accounting procedures and controls.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of procedures and techniques as generally prescribed under American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) disciplines.
- Apply auditing experience to assess compliance with financial rules and regulations and identify evasion indicators.
- Properly interpret financial information. Should be able to obtain and evaluate all relevant financial information, process it and achieve the engagement objective.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Secret clearance
- Knowledge of advanced financial investigative techniques, including the use of commercial databases
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of related experience
- Superior communication and organizational skills
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 15 years related work experience
- Master's degree
- OCONUS Operational Deployment
- Foreign language skills
