Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing assistance and directing them appropriately within the facility
- Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record systems or scheduling software
- Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages promptly to medical staff
- Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Process billing, insurance claims, and payments with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate with medical professionals to facilitate referrals, test results, and follow-up appointments
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and ensure all administrative supplies are stocked
Skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external providers
