POSITION

DESCRIPTION

The employee is responsible for operating a vehicle, carrying out pre-trip and post-trip

inspections, keeping the vehicle clean, keeping updated reports concerning vehicles

and monies (fares), and assisting passengers within established guidelines. Other

duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

FOR POSITION

• Must have a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement (for CARTS Driver position)

• Must have a safe driving record and be insurable with the county’s insurance

• Must be able to remember addresses and directions.

• Must be willing to work different shifts.

• Must have the knowledge to understand and follow rules and regulations of

This is a “safety-sensitive” position. Successful candidate must pass a pre-

employment drug test and will be subject to random unannounced drug testing

throughout employment with the County in a “safety-sensitive” position.

EDUCATION High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
