Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to support our fast-paced food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for purchasing ingredients and packaging, managing vendor relationships, maintaining accurate inventory across multiple warehouses, and supporting production planning through NetSuite. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment and can balance multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Purchase raw materials and packaging from a network of 25 vendors
• Generate and manage purchase orders in NetSuite
• Adjust orders based on demand and production changes
• Track orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure on-time delivery
• Expedite urgent or delayed shipments
• Communicate forecasts and manage vendor documentation/specifications

Production Planning & NetSuite Management

• Set up and maintain items, vendors, and recipes in NetSuite
• Create and manage work orders to support production
• Participate in production planning meetings

Inventory & Receiving

• Receive materials in NetSuite and verify against purchase orders
• Resolve discrepancies in shipments and documentation
• Maintain inventory across multiple warehouse locations (internal and external)
• Manage warehouse transfers, reporting, and monthly inventory counts
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies

Order Management & Reporting

• Process customer and sales orders daily in NetSuite
• Maintain PO trackers and internal reporting tools
• Generate weekly cost, purchasing, and sales reports
• Support sales and inventory reporting at the store level

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
• Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or related industry strongly preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
