What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Daycare Food Production position at Culinary Management Solutions?
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Production and oversite of all aspects of planning, production, preparation, and service of nutritious meals and snacks for Head Start and Early Head Start students and teachers in accordance with established standards of nutrition, health, and sanitation. Collaborates with Director of Food Services and Kitchen Manager to perform physical and administrative tasks supporting the food preparation process, including any needed documentation and record maintenance.
Maintain food quality standards including appearance and sanitation regulations; prepare food, cook, lead, coordinate and oversee and instruct other cooks and food service drivers in food preparation and drivers of shipment methods.
Assure proper cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and supplies; Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and machines used in a school cafeteria; Drive a vehicle as needed to childcare centers; Perform other related duties as assigned.
