Job Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development stages, including preschool and toddler care.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and independence.
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development.
- Monitor and document each child's progress through assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable; communicate observations with parents and guardians regularly.
- Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, transition activities, meal times, and rest periods to ensure smooth operation.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to childcare standards, child welfare policies, and health protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching physical education.
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children; familiarity with Montessori or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children’s families.
- Background in childhood development theories, special education practices, early intervention techniques, and literacy education.
- Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or child welfare is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
