Service Manager Job Description

Position Overview The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional client experiences, and leading the service team to deliver seamless events. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality. The Service Manager acts as the bridge between clients, kitchen staff, and service teams to guarantee flawless execution of events and catering services.



Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise service staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and hospitality.
  • Client Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, ensuring expectations are exceeded.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate event logistics, manage service timelines, and oversee setup and breakdown.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor service standards, troubleshoot issues in real time, and maintain Culinary Eye’s reputation for excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with culinary and event planning teams to align service delivery with menu and event design.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage schedules and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop service policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

  • Proven experience in hospitality, catering, or event management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
