Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in a nurturing environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, engagement, and growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, classroom management, and caregiving, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive and enriching experience for each child.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Assist children with classroom transitions and social interactions
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as required
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and able to work well with diverse groups of children and families
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, staff, and children effectively
- Background working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
