Cuddledown is Hiring: Machine Operator, Manufacturing
Location: Yarmouth, Maine
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4pm
From: $20.00 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insight into production process improvements.
- Operate pillow and comforter filling machines
- Operate quilting machines
- Sew closures and package down and synthetic comforters, pillows and featherbeds.
- Maintain a modified total of at least 41 points on the Manufacturing Team Employee Wage Scale
- Maintain quality control at all levels
- Promote a harmonious work environment
- Maintain safe working practices
- Contribute to team meetings
- Assist with receipt of raw materials, as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Dependability, responsibility and accountability.
- Ability to comply with safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to pull, push and lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
