Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and food safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery on the production line to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
- Perform minor repairs on machinery.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Adjust machine settings and controls as needed for various production runs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Document production data, including output, downtime, and quality issues.
- Assist in training new operators on machinery and safety procedures.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures related to manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; cooperates and works together with all team members to complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
- Creative and innovative mindset for continuous improvement are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
