Cuculi Home Daycare is a Spanish-immersion, Waldorf-inspired childcare program where children learn through play, creativity, music, movement, nature, and meaningful daily routines. We provide a peaceful, nurturing, and home-like environment where every child receives love, respect, and individual attention.

Position Responsibilities
As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to:
- Provide loving, attentive, and respectful care to babies and toddlers
- Supervise children and help maintain a safe and nurturing environment
- Assist with age-appropriate art, music, storytelling, sensory, and outdoor activities
- Support the classroom’s calm and predictable daily rhythm
- Help children during meals, diaper changes, handwashing, naps, and transitions
- Prepare classroom materials and help set up daily activities
- Keep the classroom and play areas clean, organized, safe, and inviting
- Observe children and communicate important information to the Lead Teacher
- Offer comfort, encouragement, and gentle guidance throughout the day
- Work respectfully and cooperatively with teachers, children, and families
- Follow all health, safety, and childcare licensing requirements

- Calm, attentive, and comfortable following the Lead Teacher’s guidance
- Willing to learn about Waldorf-inspired education and early childhood development
- Able to work collaboratively and communicate respectfully
- Creative, positive, organized, and willing to help wherever needed
- Comfortable working in a home daycare environment
- Able to maintain a gentle and nurturing presence throughout the day
- Available to work at our Tigard or Beaverton location
Previous childcare, babysitting, preschool, or early childhood experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
