Position Overview:
Cucina Al Pantheon is seeking a highly experienced and service-driven Server with a minimum of 3 years of front-of-house experience in full-service restaurants. The ideal candidate has a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. This individual will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience from start to finish by providing knowledgeable, attentive, and seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Guide guests through the menu with detailed knowledge of food, beverages, and daily specials.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Manage multiple tables with grace, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Follow all steps of service and maintain table etiquette standards throughout each shift.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.
- Support team members as needed and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the dining room.
- Stay current with menu changes, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of serving experience in full-service higher end restaurants.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine and cocktail basics.
- Professional appearance and polished communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Experience with POS systems and table service procedures.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
