Job Title: US Import Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Overview
Siemens is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented US Import Trade Compliance Specialist to support import compliance operations. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in U.S. trade regulations, customs processes, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure compliance with U.S. import trade regulations
- Perform HTS classification for imported goods
- Handle U.S. Customs entry writing and documentation
- Ensure compliance with USMCA regulations and certifications
- Coordinate and manage in-bond transportation
- Work with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) and bonded warehouses
- Support Partner Government Agency (PGA) reporting requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams, brokers, and external partners
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely customs clearance
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
- 5 years of recent (2022–present) experience in US Import Trade Compliance
- Strong experience with HTS classification
- In-depth knowledge of USMCA regulations and certifications
- Hands-on experience with U.S. Customs procedures and entry writing
- Experience with in-bond transportation
- Knowledge of Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) and bonded warehouses
- Experience with PGA reporting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced MS Excel
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to custom software systems
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
