We are seeking a hands-on Technical Manager to lead the development, deployment, and governance of advanced AI and automation solutions. This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader with deep experience in healthcare and manufacturing, who thrives on building intelligent systems, optimizing operations, and delivering measurable business impact. You will design and implement solutions using leading automation and AI platforms while managing a high-performing technical team across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation Development

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models and automation workflows that enhance device intelligence and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Rapidly prototype and test automation tools for manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Build intelligent AI agents using low-code platforms to accelerate adoption and scalability.

Process Optimization

• Analyze and re-engineer business processes to identify automation opportunities across R&D, supply chain, and clinical operations.
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, QMS) to reduce manual effort and improve compliance.

AI Governance & Strategy

• Establish and lead an AI governance framework ensuring ethical, compliant, and secure deployment of AI solutions.
• Define policies, standards, and monitoring mechanisms for enterprise-wide AI initiatives.

Technical Leadership

• Lead by example with hands-on development; conduct code reviews and guide the team through complex technical challenges.
• Define design standards and best practices for AI and automation projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous upskilling across the team.

Architecture & Infrastructure

• Partner with enterprise architecture teams to design next-generation infrastructure supporting scalable AI and automation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend secure, cost-effective architectural solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to align solutions with industry requirements and compliance standards.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Present insights, architecture decisions, and project outcomes to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency

• Expertise in Power Automate.
• Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks.

Tools & Software

• Project Management: Proficiency in Jira and MS Project.
• Data Analysis: Expertise in Power BI for analytics and data visualization.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate
• Azure AI Engineer Associate or AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
• AI Governance Professional (AIGP)

Industry Experience

• Extensive experience in healthcare and manufacturing, with deep understanding of regulatory and industry-specific challenges.

Professional Experience

• 10 years of relevant experience in automation and AI.
• Proven success delivering complex projects and leading small to mid-size geographically distributed teams.

Education

• Master’s degree in Automation & AI, Computer Science, or equivalent field.

• Automation Conversion: Migrate 40 automations to Power Automate within the client environment.
• Team Development: Build and sustain a fully operational automation team.
• Cost Efficiency: Deliver 4 automation solutions with measurable cost savings.
• Project Delivery: Complete all automation projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
