Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual SCM (Sourcing & Commercial Manager) – Direct Materials to support consignment material supply, inventory control, and supplier commercial management activities. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and business terms, ensuring material availability, and driving supply chain performance to support business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management experience with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage supplier performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage consignment material supply, inventory control, and related supply chain services.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers including pricing, capacity, allocation, and business terms.
- Ensure timely supply and delivery of direct materials to meet operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop multi-year commodity and sourcing strategies based on market intelligence and business needs.
- Conduct supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, and performance management activities.
- Negotiate purchasing contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and pricing agreements for goods and services.
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement new supply chain models for existing or new products and services as needed.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and commodity developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in commercial sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management.
- Candidates with 3 years of strong relevant experience and demonstrated potential will also be considered.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and ability to drive tasks through completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong organizational and relationship management skills.
