Manufacturing Operator/Material Handler

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate – Glass Line (1st Shift)Shift

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Note: Positions require mandatory overtime, including working 6–7 days per week. Overtime may occur during weekdays in addition to weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes for the production of plastic pour bottles.
• Perform and properly document line clearances.
• Verify correctness of materials before production.
• Load empty gaylords onto the production line for filling.
• Pack plastic pour bottles into gaylords, cover containers, and ensure proper product labeling.
• Inspect bottle and gasket assemblies for quality compliance.
• Report abnormalities and corrective actions to shift leader or supervision.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing exercises.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and understand specifications and operating procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and legibly according to procedures.
• Comply with audiometric testing and hearing protection requirements.
• Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Notify supervisors and take appropriate action regarding safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift objects above shoulder level.

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required.
• Additional technical training or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills required.
