Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; flexibility to start earlier)

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to perform and monitor routine IT operations and support activities. This role focuses on standardized processes, basic troubleshooting, asset management, and end-user support in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor stable, repeatable IT processes such as:
- Imaging computers
- Replacing printer toner and basic hardware components
- Disposing of outdated IT assets
- Resolving tickets from ServiceNow queues
- Follow documented procedures and knowledge base (KB) articles to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Maintain and update records, including:
- Asset tracking systems (e.g., Asset Center)
- Process logs and service records
- Incident and problem reports
- Inventory and maintenance records
- Handle basic administrative and operational tasks such as:
- Managing contact lists and customer information
- Supporting shipping orders and inventory tracking
- Processing standard facilities-related requests
- Communicate effectively via email with internal teams and external contacts
- Identify process issues and:
- Resolve them using established procedures
- Escalate issues outside defined scope
- Support equipment and operational needs by:
- Scheduling maintenance
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Ordering supplies
- Coordinating with vendors/suppliers
- Apply basic technical knowledge to support IT operations, including:
- Printer troubleshooting (e.g., toner, rollers)
- Following structured troubleshooting steps for end-user issues
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of:
- Computing and networking fundamentals
- Computer security concepts and policies
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Internet and intranet tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of IT support or help desk experience
- Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Note: Recent graduates with relevant education will be considered.
