Entry-Level Biologist - Research and Development

Job Title: Training Support Specialist (Contract – 3 Months)

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Duration: 3-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Training Support Specialist to support training initiatives related to manufacturing readiness and personnel qualification in a GMP-regulated environment. This role will assist with training curriculum development, training coordination, documentation, and learning management system (LMS) administration while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, and Subject Matter Experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, revision, and maintenance of GMP training curricula and certification programs.
• Coordinate and support Instructor-Led Training (ILT), SOP-based training, and knowledge assessments.
• Assign, track, and document training completion in the Learning Management System (LMS), such as GxPLearn.
• Assist in creating training materials, presentations, and knowledge assessments.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and SMEs to ensure training content meets operational and regulatory requirements.
• Support training effectiveness evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and inspection-ready training records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher (or currently pursuing) in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as GxPLearn.
• Experience supporting training coordination, SOP documentation, or compliance activities is a plus.
