What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar?
Looking for friendly, organized, welcoming, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.
The right person for this role should be able to multitask, greet and seat guests, take reservations, answer questions, correctly route calls, Invite potential guests inside who are viewing the outside menu board and handle guests' takeout meals.
Job Requirements:
- Host must have at least 6 months of Hosting experience in a restaurant environment.
- Host must have experience with table management systems such as SevenRooms, Resy or Open Table.
- Manage waiting lists in a high volume environment to accurately set guest expectations.
- Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Cuba Libre presses, by hand, hundreds of pounds of fresh sugar cane weekly to extract sugar cane juice, known as guarapo, used to sweeten its signature cocktail, the mojito.
Cuba Libre recognizes the importance of music and rhythm in Cuban culture, transforming after dinner on weekends into a late-night Latin hot spot featuring DJs spinning a mix of Latin music, with live performers and dancing.
