Job Summary: | The Department of Medicine (DOM) Research Office has an opening for a full-time University Staff Entry to Principal Professional Grants and Contracts Specialist. This role is responsible for complex and varied financial transactions and regulatory work related to grant post-award administration. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist Principal Investigators (PIs) with the financial, accounting, and procurement transactions and policies related to their funded research grants. The Grant and Contract Specialist will report to the Research Office Program and Grant Manager and provide centralized support to DOM Researchers and Division Research Administrators to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Sponsor, and University policies & and procedures.
This position is within a service center providing expertise to multiple divisions and faculty, and as such, performance of work is required 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. A minimum of three full, in-person days per week is required, with more in-person time possible, dependent on workload, customer availability, and University policies.

Work Location: | Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days per week 8Am - 5PM, on campus and as needed based on workload, in-person meetings, and CU Anschutz policies.
