CTS is looking to hire a knowledgeable Product Engineer for our Blue Ash, Ohio location. The Product Engineer focuses on project management - product development and product improvement activities, ensuring efficient product substantiation, new product introduction, and on-going process improvements for assigned product line(s).
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leads and is accountable for new product development activities within specified product line(s).
- Maintains the status of all development activities and appropriately communicates with internal and external customers.
- Ensures a thorough and effective transition of new products and processes into production.
- Coordinates the completion and issuance of cost estimates including scenario pricing.
- Coordinates development of process planning, incorporating customer requirements and coordinating reviews with CTS quality and production personnel. Sends plans to customer for approval as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
About You:
- 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background check and DOT drug screen
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR (and able to produce a U.S. Passport, U.S. Birth Certificate, U.S. Permanent Resident Card or U.S. Naturalization Certificate)
- One to three years project management in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree; B.S. in Materials, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering preferred; technical work-study or intern experience in thermal spray coatings preferred.
Pluses:
- 3-5 years' experience in thermal spray coatings, highly preferred
