Construction Scheduler
Location: Corpus Christi
Description:
Experienced Construction Scheduler to support our Project Controls department for capital projects. This role is heavily focused on early construction planning prior to project funding, enabling realistic timelines, annual construction resource planning, and improved execution productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed construction schedules during prefunding project phases to support capital planning and resource forecasting.
- Build and manage construction-driven schedules.
- Support annual construction resource planning and workload forecasts.
- Identify critical path activities, schedule risks, and potential slippage.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track schedule performance.
- Support capital project stage gate reviews (FEL 1, FEL 2, FEL 3).
- Strong construction planning experience and expert Primavera P6 proficiency are critical for this role
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Strong construction planning and scheduling experience on capital projects (mandatory).
- Experience scheduling large, complex capital projects and/or portfolios.
- Solid understanding of:
- Capital project stage gate processes (FEL 1, FEL 2, FEL 3)
- Engineering deliverables and construction readiness
- Basic procurement and contracting terminology
- Proven ability to analyze schedule logic, durations, constraints, and resources.
- Ability to proactively identify and communicate schedule risks and delays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OneNote.
- Must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
