Overview
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support precision manufacturing operations. This role focuses on setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high‑quality metal components according to specifications. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills/lathes to produce parts to blueprint requirementsLoad materials, adjust tooling, and verify machine settings before production runsPerform in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement toolsRead and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and machining instructionsMonitor machine performance and make minor offsets or adjustments as neededMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow all shop safety proceduresCollaborate with supervisors and weld/fab teams to ensure production accuracy and efficiencyQualifications2 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentAbility to read blueprints and use precision measurement toolsFamiliarity with G‑code, basic programming edits, and machine offsetsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environmentNice to HaveExperience with both mills and lathesBackground in metal fabrication or custom job‑shop workAbout CTR Group:
