We are seeking a versatile and strategic Marketing Manager to oversee and execute core growth initiatives to accelerate and advance the customer journey. This role is ideal for a high-energy marketer who enjoys a mix of strategy, hands-on creation, and demonstrating impact. You will be responsible for building brand awareness, nurturing leads through multi-channel campaigns, and providing the sales team with the tools they need to close deals.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Email Strategy & Content Creation
- Develop and manage the end-to-end email marketing strategy, including automated nurture sequences, monthly newsletters, and weekly promotional broadcasts.
- Write compelling, high-converting copy for all email communications across audiences and campaign types.
- Strategize and produce content — blogs, ebooks, videos, and more — based on data, customer insights, and market trends to generate organic traffic and increase lead engagement.
- Monitor content performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and use data to optimize campaign results.
Website & Landing Page Development
- Write, design, and manage website updates and new landing pages to support marketing campaigns.
- Optimize web pages for SEO / AEO and user experience to drive organic traffic and lead generation.
- Coordinate with design and technical teams to ensure brand consistency and functional excellence across all web properties.
Event Planning & Execution
- Lead planning and logistics for virtual webinars and in-person industry events.
- Manage event promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI.
- Coordinate on-site or day-of execution to ensure a seamless attendee experience.
Sales Enablement & Collateral
- Partner with the sales team to identify content gaps and create high-impact materials including case studies, pitch decks, and datasheets.
- Develop and maintain technical data sheets and spec summaries for CTL’s product and service portfolio.
- Ensure the sales team is equipped with current brand messaging, product information, and competitive positioning.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing ability: strong writer capable of adapting tone and style for different audiences, from technical deep-dives to punchy marketing hooks; excellent grammar skills without reliance on AI.
- HubSpot proficiency: extensive experience creating workflows and automations, email tools, segmentation, lead scoring, and reporting within HubSpot is highly desired.
- Adobe and design tool proficiency: experience with Adobe Creative Suite, photo and video editing software, and Canva.
- Digital marketing mindset: in-depth knowledge of social media and email best practices; experience with SEO and SEM strategies, keyword research, and related toolsets.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar website CMS; ability to create visually compelling page layouts
- Strategic execution: proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial concept through final delivery.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable using data to inform decisions and reporting on the success of marketing initiatives.Deep understanding of digital marketing architecture preferred.
- Collaborative spirit: experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams.
- Project management: ability to juggle multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines with strong organizational skills.
- Strict attention to detail is essential - our customers rely on accurate technical specifications and clear communication
- Portfolio of previous work with demonstrated impact strongly preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The role involves regular use of standard office equipment and may occasionally require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Event-related duties may require standing or walking for extended periods.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard business hours Monday through Friday. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required as job duties demand, particularly around events.
TRAVEL
Up to 15%, primarily for in-person industry events and occasional multi-site coordination.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
Annual base salary range based on experience, skills, and market data for the Kent, WA area: $85,000-95,000 annually. This position is not eligible for commission. Bonus eligibility is subject to company policy and performance.
