CTG is seeking an experienced HP-UX System Administrator with a strong telecommunications background to support and maintain mission-critical enterprise infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in HP-UX administration, high-availability environments, storage management, system performance tuning, and DevOps support within telecom operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support HP-UX servers in a high-availability telecommunications environment.
- Manage and maintain HP Serviceguard clusters to ensure system uptime and reliability.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and recovery using Ignite-UX.
- Administer storage environments utilizing LVM, VxVM, and SAN technologies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Korn Shell (ksh) and Bash.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity; identify and resolve infrastructure issues proactively.
- Manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including NetBackup and Data Protector.
- Support NFS, LDAP, TCP/IP networking, and related infrastructure services.
- Implement security hardening and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and operations teams to support deployments and infrastructure enhancements.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Relevant HP-UX, Unix/Linux, storage, or infrastructure certifications are a plus.
