The Staff Accountant will have responsibility for oversight and control of CTDI Inventories for the assigned verticals.

The Staff Accountant will have responsibility for oversight and control of CTDI Inventories for the assigned verticals.
Responsibilities
- Inventory - Responsible for CTDI Inventories including slow moving and obsolescence reviews, scrapping recommendations, inventory best practices, process improvements and inventory controls.
- Cycle Counting - Work with CTDI Auditors, Financial Ops, Branch Management and Material Management to implement cycle count processes and procedures that could eliminate and/or minimize annual API requirements.
- Reconcile Inventory balance sheet accounts.
- Resolve Inventory PO matching holds.
- Update average costs each month and validate any price variances.
- Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Accounting Management.
- Strong PC skills including database and spreadsheet proficiency
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Other duties as assigned
- 2 years accounting experience, preferably with inventory/manufacturing experience
- Public Accounting experience is a plus
- B.S. in Accounting or an equivalent discipline required
