Site Security Supervisor is responsible for supporting the safety and security of employees, guests, property, and assets. This role oversees the day-to-day activities of security personnel, ensures compliance with established security policies and procedures, assists with risk assessments, and responds to incidents as needed. The
- 1st Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday-Friday
- Monitor and enforce compliance with security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments, security audits, and threat assessments.
- Manage access control, surveillance, and alarm systems, ensuring proper operation.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing timely reporting to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies as directed by the Security Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, training, and daily activities.
- Conduct daily safety rounds and support staff training initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of facility security and emergency action plans, including fire prevention and response procedures.
- Lead by example, ensuring the team follows all safety and security standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Security Manager, based on the business needs of the facility.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in security operations, with some supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, with the ability to respond to alarms or incidents after hours.
- Monitor access control, surveillance, and alarm systems to ensure proper operation and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to make independent decisions and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to guide, motivate, and supervise security staff effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate with other departments and interact professionally with employees and visitors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of security systems, emergency procedures, and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications for reporting and documentation.
- Prior security experience in high-tech manufacturing
- OSHA training/certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Standard office environment
- Work weekends and/or overnight shifts as necessary
- Travel depending on business needs up to 10%
