Responsible for leading a team of 15 security officers to meet and exceed client expectations in a high-customer-service environment. This position requires strong leadership, administrative, and operational skills, with a focus on compliance, conflict resolution, and detailed reporting.

- Lead a team of 15 officers, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Conduct daily meetings with warehouse leadership to address concerns and provide updates on security procedures and policies.
- Participate in weekly or bi-weekly leadership meetings with client and Marksman management.
- Review all disciplinary actions submitted and create Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for officer development.
- Handle conflict and utilize peer mediation skills to de-escalate issues that may arise on site.
- Provide input on new hires and recommend officers for promotion to supervisor when available.
- Enforce company policy, including the removal of officers for misconduct or poor performance that negatively reflects Marksman Security.
- Ensure all officers maintain an active non-commissioned guard card and that On-the-Job Training (OJT) is compliant.
- Perform security duties as a Gate Officer or Employee Entrance Officer when necessary.
- Implement training procedures set by client and Marksman.
- Write and refine post orders and security procedures.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of and accurately utilize client's incident reporting system, including conducting thorough investigations.
- Monitor and manage overtime control and under-hours reports.
- Keep track of officer PTO, time-off requests, and necessary medical documentation.
- Utilize basic Human Resources (HR) skills with a background in scheduling and payroll.
- Knowledge of Winteam and Tracktik software.
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft suites.
- Excellent customer service skills, requiring a great personality, a firm but polite demeanor, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and be able to stand for prolonged periods as needed.
- Computer Skills: Ability to create and manage budgets, budget variance reports and other reports in Excel. Experience with workforce management systems and scheduling systems preferred.
- Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual considered a plus. Must possess excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, financial and time management skills with the ability of concisely and effectively address questions while providing subject matter expertise on policy to ownership and management.
- Other Qualifications: Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Strong qualitative and quantitative skills. Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, establish workflow priorities and work independently with high attention to detail. Ability to start, cultivate and maintain strong relations and work in a team environment. Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, and producing accurate results in a highly[1]organized manner. - Physical Demands: The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.
