What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Coordinator position at CTDI?

- 1st Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday-Friday
The Quality Coordinator position is responsible for maintaining documents and files to support the branch. Works with management to ensure compliance and quality standards are being followed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure training of Quality team members and annual re-testing and records are maintained and accurate.
- Support safety processes, requirements and culture. Investigate, monitor, document 5S housekeeping issues.
- Promote and execute quality standards and processes, quality plans, documents and reports.
- Perform 5S housekeeping audits and reports.
- Support the ISO/9001-2015 & TL-9000 V R6.1/R5.5 certification process and maintaining Quality System.
- Track operations performance data and trends and monthly reports.
- Support Quality Management systems in QMS, EDOCS.
- Maintain and updates all Quality Training matrix.
- Coordinate and facilitate Roaming Audits for all department sites.
- Periodic review of department internal control procedures.
- Periodic review quality and production processes in order to identify and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and/or accuracy of production.
- Support Supervision with Quality operations.
- Support Quality by making sure the customer requirements are met for the products by assuring stable processes are followed according to documented quality standards.
- Assist and follow up on closing the loop on quality corrective action and root causes.
- Works closely with management to recommend process Improvements changes.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment
- Must be organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills including presenting to a group.
- Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 lbs.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a quality related role
- Experience with ISO/9001-2015 & TL-9000 V R6.1/R5.5 preferred
- Knowledge of General OSHA Standards preferred.
- Previous experience auditing processes and reporting deficiencies a plus.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
