RF Repair Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RF systems and equipment.
2nd Shift: 2:30PM - 11:00PM, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests, diagnose issues, execute repairs, and verify the proper functioning of RF devices.
- Gather RF data using network analyzers to support RRH product development through reports.
- Analyzes issues down to the component level.
- Operate PIM (Passive Intermodulation) test equipment for diagnosing and rectifying issues with antenna prototypes.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement RF solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Adept in both interpreting and drafting sophisticated schematics.
- Resolves intricate technical challenges through troubleshooting.
- Provides training and support to other Technicians regarding repair techniques and procedures.
- Comply with quality performance standards.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
- All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
- 2 years of RF experience.
- May be required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test.
- Strong knowledge of RF technology, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
- Thorough comprehension of various technology systems and applications, including in-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
- Proficient in utilizing test equipment.
- Handling Hard Drive devices and keeping ESD policy standards.
- Proficiency in using multimeters, signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of VSWR, ACLR, and feedback circuits.
- Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Time-management skills.
- Eagerness for continuous learning.
- Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent Electronics certification, or equivalent work experience
- Warehouse environment
- The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary
- The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary
- The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary
