Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced finance leader to provide interim managerial oversight of financial reporting activities at our San Francisco office. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of reporting obligations during a limited engagement period. The manager will oversee reporting processes, guide team members, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage consolidation, reconciliations, and variance analysis across business units.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor reporting staff, providing direction and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with auditors and external partners to support reviews and filings.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting or accounting, including managerial responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and reporting standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage reporting cycles under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
