Responsibilities
- On-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Coordinate with peers, supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Order and install parts as needed.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly.
- Train customer technicians on system operation and maintenance.
- Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment.
- Stay current on tools and procedures through training and manuals.
- Maintain company property (vehicles, tools, etc.) responsibly.
- Uphold professional conduct standards required by TEL and customers.
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
- 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
- Strong customer interface skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools.
- Solid understanding of technical issues related to equipment maintenance and installation.
- Military experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum verifiable HS/GED diploma required.
- Work performed in confined cleanroom areas, sometimes in awkward positions or high places.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, stooping, crawling, climbing.
- PPE required: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap, cleanroom garments.
- Exposure to chemicals, high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation.
- Walking up to 10,000 steps and multiple flights of stairs per 12-hour shift.
- Occasional domestic travel to TEL factories, training facilities, and customer sites.
- Must be badged onsite at Intel.
