Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brentwood, NY, for a Supervisor of Production Maintenance. The Supervisor will oversee and coordinate maintenance operations to ensure production equipment and facilities operate efficiently. Daily tasks include planning and scheduling maintenance activities, supervising a team of technicians, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additional responsibilities include routine inspections, managing maintenance budgets, maintaining records, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices
- Experience in team supervision, managing schedules, and overseeing day-to-day operations
- Familiarity with safety protocols, compliance standards, and facility management practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and willingness to adapt to new systems
- Ability to work on-site and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- An Associate degree or certification in Mechanical or related field is a plus
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting is highly beneficial
