Software Implementation Specialist - Position Description Position Overview The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful deployment, configuration, training, and overall customer experience of our MES solutions. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless integration and adoption of MES software for both new and existing customers. Key responsibilities include collaborating with customers to understand their business needs, configuring the software to align with their processes, and guiding them through the implementation lifecycle. The Implementation Specialist will facilitate end-to-end deployments, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and ongoing support. - Support and actively contribute to end-to-end software implementation projects, including testing, planning, training, and executing deployments to ensure a smooth and successful client adoption.
- Perform software installations, upgrades, and environment testing to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Deliver comprehensive training and ongoing support to clients, ensuring they effectively utilize software functionalities and follow best practices.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into tailored application configurations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues during implementation, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Maintain thorough documentation of implementation processes, including configurations, client-specific instructions, SOPs, and meeting minutes.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Sciences, Process Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working within the food manufacturing industry is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Experience working with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) solutions, including system implementation and configuration, is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with technology, including software applications and computer environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
