CT Mets Baseball Academy is seeking a development-minded Assistant Coach to join our staff working with youth players across the 9U–13U age groups. Responsibilities
• Assist lead coaches in running structured, purposeful practices across multiple age groups
• Deliver focused instruction in hitting mechanics, fielding, pitching, and baserunning
• Help implement the academy’s 90-minute dual-field practice framework
• Track individual player progress and provide consistent, constructive feedback
• Enforce pitching compliance and arm-care guidelines (NFHS/CT high school and tournament standards)
• Foster a growth mindset culture — effort, coachability, and character are prioritized alongside skill
• Build positive relationships with players and parents rooted in trust and communication
• Support game-day preparation with a development lens, not just a win/loss focus
Salary : $20 - $30
