Role Summary
The Graduate Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the Baseball Program. This role is designed to provide the student with professional experience in a higher education setting while supporting the operational goals of the department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can balance their academic workload with recruiting, assisting in day-to-day operations, including practice planning and field prep.
Housing, Work Hours & Duties
Athletics GA positions may include the option for on-campus housing as part of the tuition compensation package.
Assist the Head Baseball Coach in recruiting, field prep, creating practice plans, throwing batting practice, hitting fungos, washing uniforms, game day operations, and driving vans when needed to away games.
Eligibility & Requirements
Learning Outcomes
The student will learn how a college baseball program runs on a day-to-day basis and the necessary skills to be a full-time assistant or head collegiate baseball coach.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can balance their academic workload with recruiting, assisting in day-to-day operations, including practice planning and field prep.
- Hours per week: 20/25 hours a week
- Stipend/Benefits: Tuition waived up to 24 credits & a $1000 stipend for the academic year
Housing, Work Hours & Duties
Athletics GA positions may include the option for on-campus housing as part of the tuition compensation package.
- GAs who chooses to live on campus are required to work up to 25 hours per week, reflecting additional responsibilities related to both Athletics and Residence Life.
- GAs who does not choose the housing option are required to work up to 20 hours per week, focusing primarily on Athletics-related responsibilities

Eligibility & Requirements
- Enrollment: Must be currently accepted in a Master's program at Albertus Magnus College in one of the following areas:
- Accounting (only two spots available)
- Business Administration
- Criminal Justice
- Management and Organizational Leadership
- Healthcare Administration (only two spots available)
Learning Outcomes
The student will learn how a college baseball program runs on a day-to-day basis and the necessary skills to be a full-time assistant or head collegiate baseball coach.
